Chief Financial Solutions was founded by Scott Wilson, a licensed and active CPA as well as a licensed Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).  Scott has over twenty years of solid experience in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and the solar energy sectors and has extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting and consolidation with multi-billion dollar, publicly traded companies.

Within the healthcare space, Scott has served as a SEC reporting manager and was responsible for consolidations and external reporting (including filing 8-K’s) for an $11 billion-dollar health insurance company.   Scott also served as a CFE and an audit manager for Medicare Program Audits and one-third examinations for large managed care plans across the US.  Scott has designed audit protocols and provided training for federal programs under the purview of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  In addition, Scott has extensive experiencing designing and implementing statistical sampling plans as we as challenging the use of statistical sampling in disputes between healthcare providers and insurance companies.

Scott has served as the Director of SEC Reporting for a pre-IPO solar company which included drafting a S-1 registration statement and implementing internal controls over financial reporting as well a formal financial close and reporting procedures to enable the company to be prepared to go public.  Scott has served as a financial reporting and accounting manager of several publicly traded companies which included performing research and writing position papers on the accountant treatment for a vast array of complicated subject matter.
